Bell
sounds and day begins

rush to class or you be late

when bell sounds be in your seat

be on time to keep a clean slate

throughout the day this routine repeats

last bell sounds they day is over

walk outside and hop into the rover Skrrrrtttt

    This honestly one of the best poems I've ever heard. I like the rhyme scheme in this.

Hurricane Katrina was an extremely destructive and deadly cyclone and is ranked among the five deadliest hurricanes in the history of the United States. This hurricane disrupted many citizens lives in the south and ruined most of their belongings, maybe all they had. This left many people with no homes and the feeling of loss.  Hurricane Katrina was the largest and 3rd strongest hurricane ever recorded to make landfall in the United States.  In New Orleans, the levees were designed for Category 3 hurricanes, but Katrina was at a Category 5 hurricane, with winds up to 175 mph. The levees ended up breaking and flooding the city of New Orleans. I pray for the families that lost loved ones or that are still recovering from this horrific event. I also pray that we all stay safe during this hurricane season.

Austin's About Me

Hello Everyone, my name is Austin. I am fourteen years old and am a freshman at Episcopal. I am new to Episcopal and I came from the University Laboratory School on LSU's campus. I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I then moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2009 and have lived her ever since. I have one older brother that is about to turn sixteen and a dog that is seven. I enjoy playing sports and hanging out with friends. I play baseball and basketball and enjoy both of them very much. I also enjoy vacations, especially to the beach or the mountains. I love snow skiing and generally like the cold. A fun fact about me is I love wake boarding and love the water. 200. How do you use Wikipedia?

Wikipedia is described as a "multilingual, web-based, free-content encyclopedia project supported by the Wikimedia Foundation and based on a model of openly editable content." Basically it is a single website that has any answer you could ask for. This website is extremely easy to gather information, but it also has some catches. It is openly editable to all people which means that some people can post on this website even if they are not fully qualified to speak on the topic. Many students may want to go straight to Wikipedia to get their information because it is extremely easy, simple, and mindless. However, this may not always be the best option. You may receive false information and this will come back to hurt you after turning in your assignment. I us wikipedia to maybe get a general topic overview, but I do not use this site to gather all the information needed for my assignment. It is better to dive deeper into your research and find reliable sources from people wh
